Every cart that leaves without an order is recorded with the shopper's e-mail, its exact contents and its value. A three stage reminder series (1 hour, 24 hours, 72 hours by default) then goes out from your own OpenCart mail settings, each message carrying a one-click recovery link that rebuilds the original cart in the shopper's session. An optional coupon code is attached to the final reminder and applied automatically when the link is followed. Logged in customers are captured automatically; guests are captured from the checkout e-mail field by a small storefront script. The admin dashboard lists every abandoned cart with its stage, status and value, alongside totals for pending value, recovered value and recovery rate. Sending is driven by a token guarded cron URL shown in the admin, so nothing goes out until you schedule it. OCMOD install, no core file edits.
